Henrietta Clancy is a food writer, food stylist and cookery teacher based in Acton, West London. She is the author of Just Soup (Short Books, 2016).

She styles and develops content for cookbooks, magazines, brands and retailers, and is experienced working across stills and video. She is happy to get involved at the ideas stage of any project, offering feedback as the brief changes and adapts.

Her recipes are vibrant, simple and well-tested, and taste as good as they look. Years of experience working in-house on various food and drinks titles as a features editor and sub editor (Fresh, Tesco, Decanter, Delicious, Square Meal, Imbibe) mean that she’s adept at creating content for specific editorial needs.

Henrietta loves teaching. She has led several food styling masterclasses for the Guardian and has successfully adapted similar classes for in-house use by corporate clients looking to make specific products shine.
